Breakout Call

Filed DEC 25 · 2025 NFL

NAILED IT

Dallas Goedert · TE

@PPRFantasyTips Goedert might be in league-winner territory. Nearly had 3 TDs last game

OUTCOME The 'league-winner' breakout call landed convincingly. Goedert finished the 2025 regular season with career highs of 60 catches, 591 yards, and 11 TDs across 15 games — more than doubling his previous single-season TD high of 5. He ranked as a top-6 TE for the season, a massive leap from his ADP of 141.5 (roughly TE13+ territory), clearing the 'one full tier above ADP' breakout threshold with ease. The only caveat keeping this from a perfect score is that Goedert was somewhat TD-dependent and inconsistent in yardage/volume, and missed Week 18 with a knee injury, which tempers the 'every meaningful way' standard slightly.

Trade Advice

Filed DEC 25 · 2025 NFL

MOSTLY RIGHT

For all you #TeamNoDeadline leagues out there, here are the BEST and most cost effective Dynasty buys on your contending teams, with my own trades below backing this up: QBs » Jared Goff (26 1st in SuperFlex) » Aaron Rodgers (any 3rd) » Jacoby Brissett (any 3rd) Budget Buy: Gardner Minshew (any 4th) WRs » AJ Brown (26 1st, or young WR + 2nd) » Michael Wilson (any 2nd) » Courtland Sutton (any 2nd, or young WR) Budget Buy: Mike Evans (any 3rd + piece) RBs » Josh Jacobs (26 1st) » Chase Brown (26 1st) » Saquon Barkley (any 1st + 2nd) Budget Buy: Rico Dowdle (any 3rd + piece) TEs » Kyle Pitts (slightly less than a 1st) » Dallas Goedert (two 3rds) » Travis Kelce (future late 3rd) Budget Buy: Colby Parkinson (any 3rd) Each of these players has a good matchup in Week 16 and isn’t going to cost you multiple 1st round picks to buy (good luck trying to buy Bijan Robinson or Jahmyr Gibbs right now). Eliminated from the playoffs? Sell these guys but make sure the contending Owner pays up! My trades ⬇️🧵

OUTCOME The majority of the recommended players delivered solid Week 16 fantasy production: Jared Goff threw for 364 yards and 3 TDs, AJ Brown had 9 catches for 95 yards, Saquon Barkley rushed for 132 yards and a TD, Kyle Pitts caught 7 balls for 57 yards and a score, Dallas Goedert scored a TD, and Courtland Sutton was a WR1-range producer on the season. However, notable misses included Travis Kelce catching just 1 pass for 6 yards (a dud with Minshew at QB), Josh Jacobs totaling only 48 yards on 14 touches with limited snap share due to injury, Jacoby Brissett posting his lowest yardage total as a starter, and Rico Dowdle managing a modest 43 yards. The trade advice was generally sound for contenders targeting Week 16 upside, but roughly 3-4 of the 12 named players underperformed or were compromised by injury/QB situations that week.

Dynasty Value

Filed DEC 25 · 2025 NFL

MOSTLY RIGHT

Players I once had high hopes for that are now absolutely dead to me from a fantasy football perspective, ranked: 1. Kenneth Walker 2. DJ Moore 3. Tua Tagovailoa I don’t want any part of these guys in #Dynasty Who would you add?

OUTCOME The prediction aged reasonably well for two of the three players. Tua was benched mid-season after leading the NFL in interceptions (15 INTs in 14 starts), was released by Miami, and signed a minimum deal with Atlanta — clearly a diminished dynasty asset. DJ Moore posted career-low receiving yards (682) and catches (50) in 2025 and was subsequently traded to the Bills for a mid-round pick, validating dynasty concerns. However, Kenneth Walker III was the exception: he finished as Super Bowl LX MVP, rushed for 1,309 scrimmage yards, and signed a lucrative $43M/3-year deal with Kansas City, dramatically boosting his dynasty value — the opposite of 'dead to me.'

Season Projection

MOSTLY RIGHT

Jahmyr Gibbs · RB

Jahmyr Gibbs is the best dual threat RB in the NFL. https://t.co/GvUrM2Rosb

OUTCOME Gibbs finished as the overall RB1 in full-PPR fantasy for the 2024 season with ~363-364 points, posting 1,412 rushing yards, 16 TDs on the ground, and elite receiving production — a genuinely elite dual-threat season. However, the claim that he is the 'best dual threat RB in the NFL' is contested: Saquon Barkley had a historically dominant 2024 (2,283 total yards, NFL Offensive Player of the Year, narrowly behind Gibbs in fantasy only because he sat Week 18), and Gibbs himself publicly named Barkley as the top RB. The prediction directionally holds up — Gibbs was one of the top dual-threat RBs in the league and finished RB1 in fantasy — but the 'best' superlative is a stretch given Barkley's comparable or superior case.
